# Channel Configuration

### Getting Started with Webhooks and Shopify Flow

Flow Plus allows you to use webhooks as triggers for your Shopify Flow workflows. This means you can start automations based on events happening in your external systems, such as your ERP or CRM.

Here's the basic idea:

1. You set up a webhook in Flow Plus to listen for specific data from your external system.
2. When that data is received, it triggers a Shopify Flow workflow.
3. The workflow then performs actions in Shopify based on the external data.

In the following sections, we'll walk you through setting up your first webhook trigger and connecting it to a Shopify Flow workflow.

Let's get started!
